Most Award Programs Should Not Be Silver. Some Should.
Silver has a metal cost that does not fall much with volume, so it suits a small number of programs very well and most of them badly. Tell us the occasion, the quantity, the date and the budget, and we will tell you honestly which one you have — including when crystal is the better buy.
Send the occasion, the quantity, the date and the budget per piece. You get a straight answer, including whether silver is the wrong choice here.

The difference
How we work
Solid silver, and we will say what that costs
A silver award has a metal content with a market price. That makes it more expensive than crystal or acrylic and it also means the piece has intrinsic worth on the day it is given, which is the entire point of choosing it.
We will talk you out of it for the wrong program
A quarterly sales award given to forty people every quarter should not be silver. The cost is wrong, the handling is wrong, and the recognition gets diluted. We will say so and lose the order rather than sell you a program that will not survive its second year.
Hallmarked, so it is verifiable
The purity is marked on the piece. Anybody receiving one can confirm what it is without taking our word for it, which matters far more on an object somebody keeps for thirty years than it does on a purchase order.
One conversation, not a catalogue
Award programs have a date, a quantity, a budget and an occasion, and those four things determine what is possible. We would rather have that conversation than send you a PDF of shapes.

FAQ
Common questions
- Is solid silver right for our program?
- If the quantity is small, the occasion is genuinely significant, and the budget supports a real weight of metal — probably yes. Otherwise crystal is likely the better buy.
- Does ordering more reduce the price?
- Less than with other materials. Silver is a real input cost at market price; only setup and labor scale with quantity.
- Is crystal ever better?
- Frequently. For volume programs it is the better buy and it photographs better under stage lighting.
- Is it solid or plated?
- Solid sterling or fine silver, hallmarked. We do not sell plate as though it were solid.
- Does silver tarnish?
- Yes, and it needs occasional care. Some recipients would honestly prefer crystal for that reason.
- How long does it take?
- It depends on custom versus stock. The delay on most late programs is internal approvals, not the workshop.
- Can engraving mistakes be fixed?
- No. That is why nothing is engraved without written approval of the proof.
- Do you ship to home addresses?
- Yes, individually and insured, anywhere in the United States.
